The UPPSC has declared the UPPSC PCS Prelims Result 2024 on its official website upsc.up.nic.in. Candidates who attended the examination can check their results with the help of their roll numbers. A total of 15,066 candidates have qualified for the UPPSC PCS Main Examination, which is the next stage of the selection process.
This year, the number of applications recorded by the commission was 5,76,154; the number of candidates who attended the prelims was 2,41,212 (about 42%). The declaration of results took two and a quarter months of anticipation. Through the PCS 2024 recruitment, 220 posts will be filled. UPPSC PCS Main Exam Pattern
The UP PCS Main Exam is a series of eight question papers conducted for a total of 1500 marks. All the papers will be traditional and will be conducted for three hours each. The timings of the examinations will be as follows:
- Morning Session: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM
- Afternoon Session: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
The first two papers will be General Hindi and Essay Writing, each carrying 150 marks. Out of the remaining six papers, all of them will be General Studies, conversely, with each paper carrying 200 marks. The interview round shall hold 100 marks.
